Registered Dietitian (RD)
The Pearl at Ft. Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Registered Dietitian (RD) to join their ever-growing team. Today, under new ownership, we are creating an inimitable, revitalizing Rehabilitation Environment to provide the short-term patient with a luxurious, five-star experience that meets and exceeds all expectations.
Registered Dietitian (RD) Job Description:
- Initiate nutritional assessments within 24 hours and complete within 7 days
- Observe meal service in the main dining area at a minimum of four times a week, other congregate dining areas as needed.
- Conduct meal rounds
- Approve menus and substitutions
- May assist in the department when needed
- Staff development functions
- Residents' rights - understand and comply with and promote all rules.
- To ensure medical nutritional therapy is assessed, implemented, and monitored in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and appropriate regulations
Registered Dietitian (RD) Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- On job training
- Must have RD License
