Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents

Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities

Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
-
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
-
Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:
-
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Tennessee
-
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
