Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.
Position Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Director of Nursing (DON) Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to all nursing operations and clinical staff

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements

Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures

Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention of nursing staff

Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive clinical excellence

Monitor quality measures, infection control, and patient outcomes

Lead survey preparation and serve as primary clinical contact during inspections

Promote staff education, training, and professional development
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing (required)

Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

Previous DON or ADON experience preferred

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey processes

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment
