The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team. This role is ideal for a strong nurse leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and resident outcomes.
Position Summary
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective team performance.
RN Unit Manager Key Responsibilities

Manage all nursing care activities for assigned unit

Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans

Monitor clinical documentation and quality indicators

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
-
Participate in survey preparation and quality improvement initiatives

Address resident and family concerns professionally
RN Unit Manager Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Florida (required)

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

Previous supervisory or unit management experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge of regulatory standards and best clinical practices
