Salary: Up to $200,000 per year (based on experience)
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This senior leadership role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with a proven track record in regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes.
Position Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Director of Nursing (DON) Key Responsibilities

Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services

Ensure compliance with CMS, DOH, and state regulatory requirements

Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and frontline staff

Maintain quality assurance and performance improvement programs

Prepare for and manage state and federal surveys

Monitor clinical outcomes, infection control, and resident safety

Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director

Manage staffing, scheduling, and department budgets

Implement evidence-based practices and clinical protocols
Director of Nursing (DON) Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of employment (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred

Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in a SNF

Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process

Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Experience with QAPI, Infection Control, and survey readiness
Salary: Up to $200,000 per year
