Activities Assistant The Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a motivated and compassionate
Activities Assistant to join our growing team.
Position Summary:The Activities Assistant supports the planning and implementation of engaging recreational programs designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role requires creativity, organization, and a genuine passion for working with individuals in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and lead group activities for residents
- Encourage participation and accurately document attendance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity supplies
- Provide one-on-one activities tailored to resident needs
- Assist with transporting residents to and from activities
- Support outings, special events, and other assigned duties
- Complete charting, evaluations, and documentation during shift
Qualifications & Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED required
- Creative, energetic, and self-motivated
- Experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia, or special needs populations preferred
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Flexible schedule; some evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Certified Dementia Aide training, provided in office
Schedule Options: - Full-Time: 5 eight-hour shifts per week
- Part-Time: 3 eight-hour shifts per week
- PRN: As needed
Typical Hours: - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Some evenings and weekends required
Compensation & Benefits: - Salary based on experience
