The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a compassionate nutrition professional who is passionate about clinical excellence and enhancing resident quality of life.
Position Summary
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for overseeing the nutritional care of residents, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and collaborating with the clinical and dietary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents

Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans

Monitor residents’ nutritional status and adjust plans as needed

Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and facility policies
-
Review menus to ensure therapeutic and regulatory compliance

Provide education and counseling to residents and families

Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings

Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance

Collaborate with Food Service Director and dietary staff
Qualifications

Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) required
-
Active Florida license (if required by state regulations)

Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred

Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and clinical nutrition

Excellent communication and documentation skills
