$110,000 annually Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dependable
Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations within our Skilled Nursing Facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Maintenance Director Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventative and corrective maintenance
- Ensure compliance with CMS, DOH, life safety, and environmental regulations
- Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff and contractors
- Manage building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, generators)
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure timely repairs
- Support survey readiness and address deficiencies promptly
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation
- Manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed
Maintenance Director Qualifications: - Prior maintenance leadership experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems and life safety requirements
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Must be able to respond to on-call or emergency needs
