Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions within our skilled nursing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional care.
Director of Human Resources (HR Director) Key Responsibilities - Oversee all aspects of Human Resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and retention
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as healthcare-specific regulations
- Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives to reduce turnover
- Manage performance management processes, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS systems
- Partner with department heads to support staffing needs and workforce planning
- Maintain personnel records and ensure audit readiness at all times
- Support leadership with HR strategy, policy development, and organizational growth
Director of Human Resources (HR Director) Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience with union environments is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
