Human Resources (HR) Specialist to support the daily HR operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting staff and ensuring compliance.
Human Resources (HR) Specialist Key Responsibilities - Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with employee relations, including handling concerns and supporting investigations
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Track and monitor employee licenses, certifications, and required documentation
- Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and benefits administration
- Support HR audits and ensure personnel files are survey-ready
- Help implement employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Human Resources (HR) Specialist Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience with onboarding, compliance, and employee relations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
