Human Resources Director to lead our HR operations and support our growing team.
Human Resources Director Position Summary The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role is key in supporting staff engagement, recruitment, retention, and organizational success.
Human Resources Director Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare regulations
- Manage employee benefits, compensation, and performance management programs
- Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Maintain personnel records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Support staffing initiatives and collaborate with department heads
- Coordinate employee training, development, and retention strategies
- Serve as a liaison between employees and leadership
Human Resources Director Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with payroll and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
