Food Service Supervisor to join our dietary team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about providing high-quality meals and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Food Service Supervisor Responsibilities: - Supervise daily operations of the dietary department during assigned shifts
- Oversee meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Support, train, and guide dietary staff
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Collaborate with clinical staff to accommodate residents' dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
Food Service Supervisor Qualifications: - Prior experience in food service supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities
