Registered Nurse for a combined
Assistant Director of Nursing and Infection Control role. This position works closely with nursing leadership to support clinical operations while coordinating infection prevention efforts across the facility.
This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced nurse who is comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with infection control oversight.
Salary: Up to $140,000 annually(depending on experience)
Role Overview Clinical Leadership Support: - Partner with nursing leadership to help manage daily clinical operations
- Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff and supervisors
- Assist with staffing coordination, onboarding, and team development
- Help maintain consistent standards of care in line with regulatory expectations
- Participate in internal reviews, audits, and performance improvement activities
- Address clinical concerns and assist with follow-up on incidents as needed
- Step in for nursing leadership when required
Infection Control Responsibilities: - Coordinate and maintain the facility's infection prevention program
- Monitor and track infection trends within the building
- Provide staff education on infection control practices and protocols
- Support adherence to public health and regulatory guidance
- Assist with managing infection-related concerns and outbreak response
- Maintain records and documentation for compliance reviews
Qualifications - Active RN license
- Background in long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and survey processes
- Infection control experience or training is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a clinical environment
