Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN)

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with all charge nurses daily, to exchange information regarding resident care, resident condition and all matters affecting resident well-being (i.e. admissions, discharges, transfers, out of or within the building), makes recommendations regarding nursing process, and communicates concerns to supervisors of other departments;
- Makes rounds, morning and night, as time allows, to assess residents condition, giving special attention to critically ill residents;
- Ensures that the individual nursing care plan is followed for each resident;
- Performs medication passes and/or direct resident care as needed;
- Reinforces the training and orientation of nursing personnel and provides positive reinforcement;
- Answers any/all emergencies throughout the shift
- Assists in assuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, employees, and visitors;
- Reviews incident and investigative reports for accuracy and completeness;
- Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere
- Performs other duties as requested.
Nursing and Management experience required
Must be an RN or LPN graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required. Must have current RN/LPN License and current CPR certification.
