Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist with the safe transport of residents within and outside the facility. This is a vital role that ensures residents arrive safely to appointments, activities, and therapy sessions while providing friendly and supportive care.
Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities - Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and facility activities
- Provide assistance and support to residents during transfers and mobility challenges
- Monitor and ensure resident safety and comfort during transport
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding resident needs and observations
- Assist with light resident care and companionship as needed
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications - HHA certification in good standing
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if transporting offsite)
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required
