Director of Marketing / Hospital Liaison to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or business development who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining strong referral relationships while promoting the facility's rehabilitation and long-term care services throughout the community and healthcare network.
Position Overview The Director of Marketing / Hospital Liaison is responsible for developing referral sources, coordinating with hospitals and healthcare providers, and supporting census growth through effective relationship management and communication.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and community referral sources
- Promote the facility's short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services
- Conduct onsite visits to hospitals and referral partners to strengthen business relationships
- Coordinate closely with the admissions team to facilitate smooth resident transitions
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing and outreach strategies
- Represent the facility at networking events, community functions, and healthcare meetings
- Monitor referral activity and maintain accurate communication records
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and referral partners
- Support census development and occupancy goals
Qualifications - Prior experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, business development, or hospital liaison role preferred
- Skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional presentation and customer service skills required
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care a plus
