Maintenance Technician Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Benefits Available
Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
We are looking for an individual with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards within our rehabilitation and nursing facility.
Responsibilities - Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain maintenance logs
- Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds are properly maintained
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Assist with painting, carpentry, and basic mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and facility policies
- Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify potential issues
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and other seasonal maintenance duties
Qualifications - Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, nursing home, or commercial setting preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
