Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

The Enclave at Rye is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for providing quality meals in a healthcare and rehabilitation setting.
Our team is dedicated to creating a positive dining experience for residents while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, and customer service.
Responsibilities - Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with sanitation and safety guidelines
- Review production sheets and prepare food in appropriate quantities
- Assist with meal service and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas
- Properly store food and supplies following facility procedures
- Work collaboratively with dietary staff and management
- Follow all local, state, and federal food handling regulations
Qualifications - Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, nursing home, rehabilitation, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
