Housekeeping Aide Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Sayville, NY
Pay Rate: $24.65 per hour

Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aides to join our environmental services team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors throughout the facility.
This position plays an important role in ensuring resident satisfaction and supporting a high standard of cleanliness within our rehabilitation and nursing center.
Responsibilities - Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and facility spaces
- Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and disinfect assigned areas
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and linens
- Properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials in accordance with facility procedures
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and facility needs
- Assist with laundry services as needed
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
Qualifications - Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices preferred
