Maintenance Aide to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
As a Maintenance Aide, you will assist with the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with painting, patching, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as assigned
- Maintain the grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards
- Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and special projects
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
Qualifications:- Previous maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
