Food Service Director to oversee all aspects of our Dietary Services Department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of nutrition, food quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department, including food preparation, meal service, and sanitation.
- Manage, train, and supervise dietary staff.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional and therapeutic needs.
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets and control food and labor costs.
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure resident satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed.
- Maintain survey readiness and assist during state and federal inspections.
Qualifications:- Previous leadership experience in food service management, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Hospital, or healthcare setting.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively.
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, and inventory management.
