Assistant Business Office Manager to join our administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional who enjoys working with residents, families, insurance providers, and financial records in a skilled nursing environment.
As the Assistant Business Office Manager, you will support the daily operations of the Business Office while helping ensure accurate billing, collections, admissions processing, and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist with the daily operations of the Business Office.
- Support resident billing, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Assist with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance billing.
- Process admissions, discharges, and resident financial documentation.
- Maintain resident trust accounts and business office records.
- Answer billing questions from residents, families, and responsible parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare reports and assist with month-end financial processes.
- Work closely with Admissions, Social Services, Nursing, and Administration to ensure a seamless resident experience.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Provide coverage for the Business Office Manager as needed.
Qualifications- Previous experience in a Business Office, billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare administrative role preferred.
- Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance billing is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare billing software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
