RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. If you're a compassionate Registered Nurse with strong clinical and leadership skills, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting a team committed to exceptional resident care.
As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensuring high-quality clinical care, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, during assigned shifts.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized care.
- Provide clinical leadership and serve as a resource for nursing staff.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Promote compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes.
- Assist with staffing coordination and shift assignments as needed.
- Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
- Maintain survey readiness and assist during regulatory inspections.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or Long-Term Care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
