Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated and patient
TRANSPORTATION Driver to join our team! As a vital part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents, staff, and volunteers to and from various destinations.
Job Responsibilities:- Review daily rehabilitation schedules and ensure availability for transportations
- Provide minimal assist with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs
- Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles
- Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments
- Operate elevators as needed
- Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems
- Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred
- Valid, unencumbered state driver's license required
- At least 1-2 years of transportation experience preferred
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment
- CNA certification is preferred but not required
