Maintenance / Environmental Services Director to lead the day-to-day maintenance, housekeeping, safety, and environmental services operations of our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily Maintenance and Environmental Services operations.
- Supervise, schedule, and support Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Environmental Services staff.
- Maintain the facility, equipment, systems, grounds, and common areas in safe working condition.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, fire, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage housekeeping standards, infection prevention practices, and overall facility cleanliness.
- Coordinate with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Maintain required records, logs, inspections, and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance, safety, and environmental concerns.
- Participate in surveys, audits, emergency preparedness, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Monitor department supplies, inventory, and expenses.
- Train and hold department staff accountable for performance and compliance.
Qualifications- Previous experience in Maintenance, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
- Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and facility safety.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of SNF regulatory and safety requirements is a plus.
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong attention to detail.
