The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated rehabilitation professional who is passionate about resident-centered care and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents
Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises
Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes
Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises as directed
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
Strong organizational and documentation abilities
