Cortlandt Healthcare in Cortlandt Manor, NY is a 120 bed sub acute facility and is hiring a full time Assistant Director of Rehabilitation. We are open to PT, PTA, OT, and COTA for this role. Hiring for this role is done on site by our Director of Rehab and facility leadership, not by an outside recruiter. You will interview with the people you will actually work with.
This is a clinical development role. You will treat, and you will build therapists. If you are already the clinician other therapists come to with questions, this is the step that puts a title behind it.
We are part of a growing network of 37 skilled nursing facilities, which means real clinical support behind you and real places to go from here.
Why This Role Is Different
You develop people, not just caseloads. Your first job is mentorship. New graduates, therapists new to skilled nursing, and experienced clinicians sharpening their documentation all learn from you.
Open to four disciplines. PT, PTA, OT, and COTA are all considered. Leadership ability and clinical judgment matter more to us than which license you hold.
Interdisciplinary by design. PT, OT, SLP, nursing team, dietitian, respiratory, social work, and MDS work from the same plan and the same table. You will have a seat at it from day one.
Leadership that is present. You will work directly with our Director of Rehab and facility administration, not around them. You will be part of decisions, not handed the outcome.
A real path to Director of Rehabilitation. This role is built as the step before DOR. Across a 37 facility network that is still expanding, that path is open.
Work life balance is an operating priority. Tell us the schedule you need and we will work with you to build it. Our residents come first, and happy therapists equal happy patients.
