The Enclave at Port Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Port Chester, NY is hiring a full time Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. Hiring for this role is done on site by our Director of Rehab and facility leadership, not by an outside recruiter. You will interview with the people you will actually work with.
We are part of a growing network of 35 skilled nursing facilities, which means real clinical support behind you and real places to go from here.
Why This Speech Therapy Role Is Different
Interdisciplinary by design. SLP, OT, PT, nursing team, dietitian, respiratory, social work, and MDS work from the same plan and the same table. Your dysphagia recommendations reach the people carrying them out.
A training environment. New graduates and CFY candidates are welcome. You get structured mentorship, hands on orientation, and ongoing clinical education from clinicians who want to teach.
Leadership that is present. Our Director of Rehab and facility administration are invested in where you want to be in five years and will talk with you about it regularly, not only once a year at review time.
Growth you can actually reach. A 35 facility network that is still expanding means specialty program development, mentorship roles, and leadership tracks, including:
Dysphagia and modified diet program leads
Dementia clinical focus champions
Respiratory champions and step down
Assistant director and lead or senior therapist ladder programs
Work life balance is an operating priority. Tell us the schedule you need, and we will work with you to build it. Our residents come first, and happy therapists equal happy patients.

Evaluate residents to determine communication, cognitive, and swallowing status, including specialized evaluations as indicated
Build individualized treatment plans with a clear problem list and measurable short and long term goals, under physician direction
