We are a dedicated and resident-centered Skilled Nursing Facility seeking an experienced Business Office Manager / Medicaid Coordinator to oversee our business office operations and ensure accurate, timely Medicaid processing. This role is essential in maintaining financial workflow, supporting residents and families, and ensuring compliance with state requirements.
Business Office Manager / Medicaid Coordinator Responsibilities

Oversee daily business office operations, including billing, collections, and resident trust accounts

Manage Medicaid applications, recertifications, and eligibility verification

Work closely with residents, families, and social services to support the financial admission process

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Collaborate with leadership on budget tracking and revenue cycle performance

Process private pay, Medicare, and insurance claims

Prepare reports and participate in audits as needed

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
Business Office Manager / Medicaid Coordinator Qualifications

Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) business office (required)

Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, applications, and reimbursement processes

Experience with billing, collections, and financial reporting

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Familiarity with long-term care software (e.g., PCC, MatrixCare) preferred
