Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) to oversee resident care and support nursing staff during assigned shifts. This role is critical to maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring exceptional care in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes in status
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support compliance with NYS DOH and CMS regulations
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and care planning
Qualifications: - Current RN or LPN license in New York State
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
