Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and staff performance in a skilled nursing environment.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing and coverage
- Ensure compliance with NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations
- Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection control initiatives
- Participate in staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes
- Review clinical documentation and care plans for accuracy and compliance
- Support survey preparedness and response activities
- Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Prior nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
