Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide high-quality nutritional care to residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting resident health, recovery, and regulatory compliance.
Registered Dietitian (RD) Key Responsibilities: - Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight trends, and dietary needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and dietary standards
- Review and approve menus for nutritional adequacy and therapeutic diets
- Participate in care plan meetings and QAPI initiatives
- Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Registered Dietitian (RD) Qualifications: - Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- State licensure or eligibility required
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Knowledge of geriatric nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
