Position Overview The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated
Clinical Nutrition Manager to oversee all aspects of clinical nutrition services within our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality, personalized nutrition care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Clinical Nutrition Manager Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage the clinical nutrition program for all residents
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (Florida), and local regulations, including AHCA and CMS guidelines
- Supervise dietary staff and provide training and education as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Participate in care plan meetings and quality assurance initiatives
- Oversee therapeutic diets and ensure proper implementation
- Support infection control and sanitation standards within the dietary department
Clinical Nutrition Manager Qualifications - Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with active registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (required)
- Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the state of Florida (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations, CMS guidelines, and dietary compliance standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
