Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. The ADON plays a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities - Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in survey readiness and quality assurance initiatives
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement performance improvement plans
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staff education/training
- Promote a positive, collaborative work environment
- Step in as acting DON when needed
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications - Active RN license in FL
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in a SNF or long-term care setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
