RN Wound Care Nurse The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a RN Wound Care Nurse to join our team.
RN Wound Care Nurse Duties Include: - Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
- Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
- Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods
- Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
- Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents
RN Wound Care Nurse Requirements/Qualifications: - Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license
- Active CPR Certificate
- Point Click a Plus
- Wound care certification desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and a team player
