Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing A healthcare facility is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) position. This role supports nursing leadership in coordinating clinical services and maintaining consistent standards of care for residents.
This position is a good fit for a nurse with prior supervisory experience who is looking to grow in a leadership role within long-term care.
Responsibilities: - Assist with coordination of daily nursing operations and clinical workflows
- Support compliance with state and federal care standards
- Help prepare for surveys and participate in quality assurance activities
- Provide day-to-day guidance to nursing staff and team members
- Review clinical documentation and monitor care practices
- Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and team support
- Follow up on incidents and help ensure proper resolution
- Promote a respectful and team-focused work environment
Qualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
- Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and clinical documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a clinical setting
Salary: up to $130,000 annually (based on experience)
