BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Financial Counselor to support clients and families through the financial aspects of treatment. In this role, you'll help individuals understand their insurance coverage, financial responsibility, and available options while working closely with a collaborative clinical and operations team.

What your day looks like - Meet with clients at admission to review insurance benefits and financial responsibility
- Clearly explain coverage, authorizations, and out-of-pocket costs
- Set up and document payment plans and financial agreements
- Provide ongoing financial counseling throughout a client's stay
- Collaborate with clinical, admissions, and billing teams
- Support discharge planning to minimize outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems
What we're looking for - 2+ years of experience in healthcare financial services, patient access, or revenue cycle (preferred)
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss sensitive financial topics professionally and compassionately
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Working knowledge of insurance benefits and patient responsibility
