What you will be doing? Under the supervision of the Director of Client Services, the Client Care Supervisor is responsible
for overseeing the Client Care Coordinator team in the services of providing education and
support to clients, families, and the community. The Client Care Supervisor will be responsible for
ensuring data accuracy, chart compliance with daily audits, reporting status of insurance needs
and payments collected, completing all team individual/team supervisions and training team
members to the designated BriteLife Recovery standard of client care. The Client Care Supervisor
will ensure that appropriate communication is had between the Client Care team and external care
providers in a timely manner to client's admissions and discharges. The Client Care Supervisor
will act as the primary point of contact between multi-disciplinary teams and will report
daily/weekly to the Director of Client Services.
What tasks are required? - Job Type: Full Time; hours determined by Facility Maintain oversight on developing and communicating the client discharge/transfer
plans to assist in transition to appropriate care. - Works onsite to act as the main point of contact for business development and
admissions team. - Will communicate which releases need to be signed, have
knowledge of which representative referred the client for consistent contact and
continue communication by making sure the designated representative is aware
when an admit has arrived. - Ensuring the Client Services team have the appropriate releases of information
signed and providing appropriate case consultation and coordination with referral
sources. - Edit and keep an up-to-date census, designated by Director of Client Services, for
multi-disciplinary team use. Establishing discharge dates, current census, UR
authorization for each client, discharge plans, etc. - Ability to run census to identify insurance for incoming clients while in treatment
to help with aftercare coordination. - Perform weekly KIPU chart audits to ensure accuracy of data and standard
timelines of documentation have been met. Facesheet data, Aftercare plan
completion, 7-day follow up, initial client contact, etc. - Ensuring Client Care Coordinators document all services, assessments,
reassessments, referrals and follow-up in the client's medical record, providing
appropriate signatures and dating of such entries. - Attends staff meetings and weekly department meetings as pertinent to job
function and responsibility. - Assists with transportation requests as needed in collaboration with facility
transportation team. - Ensure all required COBs, insurance needs and financial counseling sessions are
being coordinated in a timely manner with ARS and Client Services team.
Keeping accurate records and reporting on insurance needs, payments due,
insurance documents scanned to the appropriate ARS members and verifying
pharmacy benefits and credit cards on file are provided to the appropriate parties
for prescription coverage. - Overseeing the daily operations of the Client Services department and
communicating any pertinent information to the leadership teams.
Train all Client Care Coordinators in job duties and responsibilities that meet the
BriteLife Recovery standards of client care. - Collaborate with the Director of Client Services to schedule team training that will
enhance the skillset and knowledge of the Client Services team. - Perform supervision, individual and team, weekly for the Client Services team.
Positively promotes BriteLife Recovery to prospective clients and employees. - Complete annual education requirements.
- Maintains standards of professional society procedures and ethical behavior.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Report to work on time and as scheduled.
- Wear identification while on duty.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement
activities. - Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.
What we need from you? - Minimum of three years of experience working in the substance use treatment field.
- Preferred Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Family Recovery Specialist certificate.
- Preferred minimum of 4 years' experience working within Case Management role.
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health related field preferred.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency.
- Prior experience working at a healthcare setting.
- Grasp of basic computer knowledge.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of insurance terms, benefits and coverage preferred.
- Ability to assess, plan services, and deliver services to individuals in need of
substance use treatment. - Ability to establish rapport, systematically gather data.
- Participation in continuing professional development.
- Knowledge of Medically Assisted Therapies.
- Ability to provide education and information to individuals and groups, through
formal and/or informal processes, concerning their substance use. - Ability to identify client needs that cannot be met by counselor or agency and
assists client to utilize the support systems and community resources available. - Demonstrated knowledge of accepted principles or client record management.
- Ability to maintain a caseload based on current census needs or a caseload as
mandated by state regulatory guidelines and supervise Client Care Coordinators
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions: - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations.
- Has no mental, nervous, organic, or functional disease or psychiatric disorder likely
to interfere with his/her ability to drive safely (I.E. holding a medical marijuana
card.)
