motivated RN Unit Manager to oversee resident care and nursing operations during the evening shift. This position is ideal for a hands-on nursing professional who leads by example, supports their team, and takes pride in delivering excellent resident outcomes.
Your Role- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team.
- Oversee resident care and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs and provide guidance when needed.
- Conduct rounds and monitor residents for changes in condition.
- Ensure medications, treatments, documentation, and physician orders are appropriately managed.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care.
- Assist with staffing, assignments, and daily unit operations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
- Identify clinical concerns and take appropriate action.
- Support infection prevention, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
- Coach and mentor nursing staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
What We're Looking For- Active RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions in a busy clinical environment.
- Professional, dependable, and resident-focused.
